I know this is a bit late, but wanted to send a shout out to Hank who was doing a remodel in the Benson area.

“He found my phone/wallet in the middle of the street and went through steps to get it back to me. There was no damage and everything was still in it. (I had stupidly put it on top of the car and drove off). Hank saved me a lot of hassle and would not take a reward. There are still wonderful and honest people in this…”

The Wrap

Pumpkin Destruction Day sounds like the best possible sendoff for a jack-o'-lantern. On the last day of the season at Vala's Pumpkin Patch in Gretna, guests rode hay racks out to the fields and got to smash, toss and bash leftover pumpkins. The farm says the large pumpkins it doesn't sell get disced or cut up and worked back into the soil as fertilizer for future crops.
