Recovery crews recovered two bodies Tuesday from the Missouri River near Omaha's N.P.

Nebraska lawmakers advanced a proposal Tuesday to reduce the inheritance tax (27 to 10 vote) that will lower rates to 1% for children and 3% for other relatives while replacing lost county revenue with increased fees.
