Three people died Friday night when a small plane crashed into the Platte River near Fremont at about 8:15 p.m.; the Dodge County Sheriff's Office said the bodies were recovered while the FAA and National Safety Transportation Board began investigating the crash.

One person was killed in a single vehicle crash near 72nd and Izard streets in North Omaha early Saturday morning — the vehicle went off the road at high speed and part of 72nd Street was closed for about an hour while police investigated the incident.

The Hollows is an upscale wine and cocktail bar set to open soon at 5019 Underwood Avenue in Dundee (in the former party room next to Pitch Pizzeria).

According to the City Clerk’s Office, the tentative opening date is June 15.
