ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Three people died Friday night when a small plane crashed into the Platte River near Fremont at about 8:15 p.m.; the Dodge County Sheriff's Office said the bodies were recovered while the FAA and National Safety Transportation Board began investigating the crash. Nebraska Public Media
- ➤ One person was killed in a single vehicle crash near 72nd and Izard streets in North Omaha early Saturday morning — the vehicle went off the road at high speed and part of 72nd Street was closed for about an hour while police investigated the incident. WOWT

- ➤ The Hollows is an upscale wine and cocktail bar set to open soon at 5019 Underwood Avenue in Dundee (in the former party room next to Pitch Pizzeria). According to the City Clerk’s Office, the tentative opening date is June 15. Grow Omaha
- ➤ Corn Coast Brewing, a Lincoln-based brewery, opened its Omaha taproom on April 19 at 10717 Virginia Plaza in La Vista — next to HOTWORX and near Kros Strain and Pint Nine breweries. - ➤ Eileen’s Cookies will replace the former Omaha Bakery at 725 North 210th Street in the Elkhorn area—east of UBT sports complex and south of Bowlero. It will open on June 28th and is run by franchisees who also own the store at 74th and Pacific Street. Grow Omaha

- ➤ Omaha police said a shooting near 144th Street and West Center Road on Saturday afternoon killed one person—officials continue to investigate—and have not yet confirmed if anyone else was hurt. KETV
