  • Neighbors gathered at Turner Park in Midtown Omaha this past weekend for the No Kings 2.0 protest to demand government accountability and fair treatment. Protesters spoke out about corruption and rule of law—emphasizing their right to free speech and assembly.  3 News Now
  • Today, the KMTV team volunteered with Free Bikes 4 Kidz Omaha to clean and polish hundreds of donated bikes+ all of which will be gifted to local children for the holidays. The organization said it will accept bike donations at their warehouse on October 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  3 News Now
  • Mike Scofield—a Dundee neighbor—organized meal deliveries for TSA agents at Eppley Airfield during the ongoing government shutdown. About 40 locals have donated around $4,000 and he plans to deliver more meals this weekend to help agents facing pay disruptions.  3 News Now
  • Omaha resident Brianna Parsons has visited 100 local coffee shops over the past two years to find comfort and support her mental health through creative workshops. She will celebrate this milestone on Friday, October 25 at The Wandering Page at 5:30 p.m.  KETV

  • Ika Ramen in Blackstone is losing customers and facing staff shortages as construction disrupts access today—crews will close 38th and Farnam to speed up the project.   • Week 8 Nebraska high school football games were played on Thursday and Friday with strong matchups, including a Monster Matchup (Creighton Prep at Westside) and a Fan Favorite (Skutt vs Bennington).   • Omaha Women's Soccer lost 2-1 to Denver Sunday afternoon at Caniglia Field; Isabella Chidiac and Kera Nguyen scored for Denver before Kendall Doberstein gave Omaha a goal in the 68th minute.
