- ➤ Girls Inc. broke ground on its new South Omaha Center at 2108 L Street behind South High School and began a campaign to raise the final $2.7 million for the $35 million project—The new Emma Lozier Center will cover 36,000 sq. ft. and serve 300 girls. Grow Omaha

- ➤ FNBO closed on its acquisition of Country Club Bank of Kansas City this week and now has 30 area locations, including 10 in the city & the deal brings together two family owned banks with deep regional roots. - ➤ At H&K Pool on Saturday, Omaha's Swimming and Diving teams beat Rockhurst while freshman Nathan Frette set new school records in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events with scores of 356.90 and 357.35—both earning NCAA Zone Qualifier status. - ➤ Nebraska’s volleyball team swept Rutgers 25—17, 25—15, 25—16 on Saturday night at Jersey Mike’s Arena before a record crowd of 8,000, marking its fifth consecutive sweep—The Huskers improved to 14—0 overall and will host Washington Friday at the Devaney Center. KETV
