- ➤ Big Brothers Big Sisters has launched its 60 Men in 60 Days campaign to recruit 60 male mentors for over 100 children who face nearly a year-long wait. Emma Beebe said the program requires mentors to commit four hours each month for at least one year — with the campaign running from September 1 to October 31. KETV

- ➤ Twin Peaks, a national sports bar chain, is returning to Omaha as construction progresses on its new 8,000 sq.ft. restaurant at 313 North 179th Street in Village Pointe West, set to open by year-end.
