- ➤ A man was injured in a cutting near 46th and Cuming before 10 p.m. Thursday as reported by the Omaha Police Department—no further details on his condition were available. WOWT
- ➤ A 20-year-old man, identified as Isaiah Wyldes, fled a traffic stop and barricaded himself in a central Omaha home on Sept. 2nd, and he was arrested after a short standoff — he waived his preliminary hearing and will be sentenced on Nov. 6 for previous flight and disorderly conduct charges while his next court appearance for this incident remains unscheduled. - ➤ OPPD held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 4 in Papillion to mark the online status of Turtle Creek Station and the planned opening of Standing Bear Lake Station, which together will add 600 megawatts to meet growing energy demand.
