- ➤ A hearing is scheduled on October 20 to decide if Nikko Jenkins—who killed four in 2013 and once pleaded for execution before changing his mind—will be further evaluated to see if his worsening mental state exempts him from the death penalty while Douglas County Attorney Don Kleine argues he understood his actions.
