- ➤ A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office deputy recovered a stolen large construction trailer from a parking lot near 156th and Maple Streets today, helping a small business resume work and prompting Sheriff Hanson to provide a GPS tracker to secure equipment—efforts aimed at curbing future theft. - ➤ An Omaha man was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison—after being convicted of distribution and conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance similar to fentanyl—in a federal case. Omaha World-Herald
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Nebraska State Fair has been updated with a vendor parking lot that is repaved with concrete and modern storm sewers—improving drainage and keeping the area cooler.
