- ➤ Bellevue officers were called after a report of a naked man in a pool and found 43-year-old Justin Lieffers resisting arrest near South 27th and Fairview Streets; after lifesaving measures failed and one officer sustained minor injuries, he died while investigators from the Sarpy County Force Investigation team review his cause of death for a grand jury investigation. - ➤ A Kentucky lawsuit has been filed by the family of 18-year-old Henry Willis against Husky Armory—an Omaha online gun seller—that provided a pistol-building kit which was turned into a ghost gun used in his suicide; his mother argues that he would still be alive if the law had been followed. - ➤ Rafael Rashad Adams, 41, was sentenced last week to 72 months in federal prison for possessing marijuana with intent to distribute + possessing a firearm during drug trafficking after police found him passed out in a damaged car near South Expressway and 30th Avenue, and he will serve 3 years of supervised release with no parole option.
