- ➤ Omaha Police said that seven people were injured early Saturday morning when gunshots were fired near 30th Street and Bedford Avenue and a driver crashed near 36th Avenue and Lothrop Street—six gunshot victims went to two hospitals and the driver was shot while driving away from Kelly’s Liquor. - ➤ Seven people got hurt in a shooting in North Omaha — police have not arrested anyone and are looking for a suspect. WOWT
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Omaha City Council will meet Tuesday at 2 p.m. to discuss a 32372 square foot addition to Westroads Mall, removal of the landmark designation for the Grand Theater, new parking options at the Crossroads Development, and a first reading on accepting a $1.45 million grant from the Omaha Police Foundation for a drone first responder program — all items to be considered in the upcoming meeting.
