Families of the Stolen hosted the 11th annual Day of Laughter Saturday at Assembly of Saints in Omaha, offering free school supplies, live entertainment, and water activities while handing out over 450 backpacks to children.

Founder Buffy Bush started the event to support families affected by violence, and it has grown from giving 100 backpacks in its first year — showing a strong community effort to break the cycle of violence.
