Amazon's Prime Air drones will soon deliver five-pound packages within an 8-mile radius near the Papillion Fulfillment Center by the end of summer.

The fully autonomous drones fly at up to 400 feet and 70 mph — adding FAA-certified job roles.

Nebraska’s attorney general joined 47 other states in settling with drugmaker Glenmark over claims it inflated generic drug prices, with Nebraska set to receive over $128,000 from a $29.6 million deal.

Buyers of generic drugs from Glenmark between May 2009 and December 2019 may be eligible for refunds.

Nebraska officials have not decided whether to require proof of citizenship for USDA food assistance, a change that could burden up to 255 distribution sites including Omaha-based Food Bank for the Heartland + Food Bank of Lincoln; local pantries warn the new rules may deter residents from getting needed meals.

The Stephen Center reopened its renovated HERO Recovery Center on Wednesday, expanding its 64-bed residential treatment program and outpatient services in South Omaha.
