ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Omaha Fire Department crews extinguished a semi truck fire on eastbound West Dodge Road near Skyline Drive at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday after the driver pulled the truck safely to the shoulder but lost the truck and its meat load, leading the Nebraska Department of Transportation to close the road at 11 a.m. WOWT
- ➤ An abandoned home at 30th and Charles in North Omaha burned for the second time this month on Sunday morning just before 2 a.m.—fire crews stayed at the scene to prevent flare-ups and reported no injuries while investigators probe the cause. WOWT
- ➤ A crash on I-480 westbound early Sunday morning left two people with serious injuries—one person received CPR at the scene and was taken to Nebraska Medicine while investigators look into the cause. KETV

- ➤ The Nebraska State Patrol is searching for Nicco Hoffman, a five-year-old last seen Sunday at 6:30 a.m. by South Sioux City police wearing a blue shirt, black shorts and sandals—he may be in a silver 2007 Lincoln MKX SUV with an Iowa license plate OMA484 in Omaha or Council Bluffs. KETV
