- ➤ Police investigated a fatal crash on Thursday at 4 p.m. near 10th and Martha Streets in Omaha when 63-year-old Carra Niverson was struck in a marked crosswalk after a Chevrolet hit a stationary Jeep, causing her to die at Nebraska Medicine and both drivers to be treated—one for serious injuries and the other for non-life-threatening injuries as authorities continue to investigate the incident.
