- ➤ On Sunday, Adams Park held a grand opening for its new trail system that connects North Omaha neighborhoods and features an all-wheels playground, pump track, flow trail, and scenic routes—years in the making with community feedback. - ➤ Omaha police are investigating a shooting Sunday night in North Omaha — a 16-year-old girl was injured with a gunshot wound and taken to a hospital. Omaha World-Herald
- ➤ A shooting near downtown Omaha at 16th and Cuming left one person in critical condition around 10 p.m. Sunday night—police have not named any suspects or made any arrests. KETV
- ➤ Omaha police arrested two 18-year-old men and one 16-year-old boy on Monday in connection with a homicide investigation—officers said they responded on June 8 to a shooting on North 62nd Street that left 19-year-old Ashtin Fletch dead and a 20-year-old man with a non-life-threatening injury.
