- ➤ On Tuesday, federal law enforcement agents raided Glenn Valley Foods in Omaha as part of the Take Back America Task Force worksite enforcement operation, and an I-9 audit found many suspected fraudulent documents and misused citizen identities. The inquiry referred criminal allegations including fraudulent Social Security use, assaults on federal officers and illegal reentry, and charges have not been made— the investigation remains active. - ➤ The University of Nebraska Board of Regents will look at a 5% tuition hike at its meeting on June 19 at Varner Hall—this comes after a state budget boost of 1.25% over the next two years that is lower than the 3.5% requested.
