- ➤ Affordable housing projects in Omaha, Lincoln and surrounding areas will receive $13.5 million in grants today from the Middle Income Workforce Housing Investment Fund—nearly $11 million to projects in Douglas and Sarpy counties and just over $2.6 million to projects in Lancaster County, with Habitat for Humanity of Omaha receiving the largest $4.5 million award.
