- ➤ A 28-year-old Omaha man was sentenced last week by Douglas County District Court to 3½ years in prison for leaving the scene after striking a pedestrian with his vehicle. Omaha World-Herald
- ➤ Brandy Williams, 32, was sentenced to serve 10 to 20 years in prison by the Douglas County District Court—crediting 562 days served—for her role as an accessory to a felony after prosecutors amended the charge from first-degree murder in connection with a robbery that led to Quayvon Tucker’s death on July 15th. - ➤ Zadik Motino, a 20-year-old Omaha man, was sentenced to 24 to 36 years in prison for manslaughter — his plea deal followed the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Mauricio Chavez at a South Omaha bar during a disturbance. Omaha World-Herald
