- ➤ Patty’s Childcare Center will open in the renovated former St. Rose Catholic Church building at 4110 South 13th Street—located on a 2-acre site near Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium. - ➤ One person was seriously injured in a shooting early Saturday morning in northwest Omaha; police found the victim with a gunshot wound near 132nd Street and West Center Road (just before 1 a.m.) and the victim said the incident happened near 144th Street and Maple Road (with the suspect still at large). - ➤ Omaha Police are seeking 14-year-old Alaina Schweikert, who has been missing since May 21—she is 5 ft 4 in tall, weighs 120 lbs, and has brown hair and brown eyes, with officers saying she is not believed to be in immediate danger. KETV
