- ➤ UNO student researchers are studying long-term stress in shelter dogs by analyzing 100 strands of hair — which measure cortisol levels — to understand how trauma impacts behavior and adoption. - ➤ The Maverick Store has launched a new Adoption & Insights Portal for course materials in partnership with UNO and Barnes & Noble College.
