- ➤ Candidates for Omaha mayor are working hard to get voters to the polls for Tuesday's primary election—where the top two finishers will move on to May's general election. They held door-knocking and phone bank events over the weekend to reach out to residents. KETV
- ➤ Voters in Omaha will cast their ballots tomorrow in a primary election to choose the mayoral and City Council candidates for the May 13th general election—Election Commissioner Brian Kruse expects a slightly above-average turnout—and 12 polling spots have changed so voters should confirm their correct location. - ➤ Nebraska’s free and fair elections face criticism from groups who falsely allege voter fraud and now call for new restrictions such as the proposed LB 542 and an executive order that questions vote counting—Nebraska Secretary of State Evenen supports current measures that verify citizenship.
