- ➤ Since the March 20th blizzard, over 49,000 Omaha Public Power District customers and thousands in Douglas and Sarpy counties have remained without electricity as workers continue power restoration. - ➤ A Nebraska legislative committee voted 5-3 to advance LB 89—'Stand With Women Act'—which would define male and female in law based on sex at birth for sports, bathrooms and state agencies. - ➤ Nebraska Attorney General Mike Hilgers announced at a Thursday press conference that his office sent cease-and-desist letters to 104 Omaha stores selling Delta-8 and synthetic cannabis products, giving them 30 days to remove the items or face a lawsuit.
