  • Park Omaha is offering $1 parking in three downtown garages along the streetcar construction route — a move to help local businesses during construction.  Omaha World-Herald

CULTURE NEWS

  • The Paxton, an Art Deco landmark, opened in 1929 and was restored in 2004 as condos with restaurants and offices — preserving Omaha history near Mutual of Omaha headquarters.  Grow Omaha
  • Omaha’s zoo has once again ranked number one by earning top marks for its zoo membership + Desert Dome exhibit.  WOWT
  • El Museo Latino celebrated its $10.5 million renovation, which doubled exhibit and gathering space and added art classrooms, upgraded restrooms + a refreshed gallery.
