ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Omaha has seen only 6.5 inches of snow so far this winter (well below the 16-inch average) amid a regional snow drought affecting the Rockies. Reduced runoff may strain the Platte River and local reservoirs later this summer. 3 News Now

- ➤ The Douglas County Health Department warned that 196 restaurants with unrenewed food and drink permits will be shut down starting Feb. 16 if they do not act promptly. Affected businesses must call the department to avoid fines and service interruption. WOWT
