- ➤ Omaha is expecting record warm temperatures on Monday afternoon with highs near 70 degrees, possibly breaking a record of 63 according to KETV NewsWatch 7. Meteorologists advise residents near the Elkhorn, Loup and Platte Rivers to be cautious as a flood watch is in effect due to ice jam risks. KETV

- ➤ Three-year-old Violet Bowen will have brain surgery late February to remove an arachnoid cyst as she battles craniosynostosis (premature skull fusion) that raises concerns about her vision. Her family is preparing for additional tests and follow-ups as doctors work to ease her symptoms. KETV
