  • Omaha metro tow drivers expect a busy weekend as cold weather (which creates black ice) leads to more serious accidents on the roads, prompting officials to advise drivers to use extra caution.  WOWT

  • MINISO has opened a store at Nebraska Crossing in Gretna, located in the mall’s northwest section between Nike and Paradise Bakery. The Chinese retailer with about 8,000 stores worldwide now brings its global lifestyle products to local shoppers.  Grow Omaha

  • Today, tests from CHI Health hospitals and clinics in Omaha show 25% of flu tests are positive for Influenza A, driving the worst illnesses in recent years. Health experts warn that infections will continue to rise over the coming weeks (2‑4 weeks) and urge residents to take precautions.  KETV
