- ➤ Goodwill Omaha now gives donated blankets and coats to nonprofits to help homeless residents stay warm in South Omaha as temperatures drop. Janelle Peterson, COO, said the program uses 16 local stores to quickly deliver items to groups like Threshold and the Stephen Center, serving those at risk of frostbite. WOWT
- ➤ The Shine the Light on Hunger Campaign has raised a record $4.95 million and collected 216,237 pounds of food to support over 15 million meals for neighbors — donations come through orange bins at local sites and go to Food Back for the Heartland. Grow Omaha

- ➤ Nebraska’s federally measured GDP grew 5% in Q3 2025 — the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis said it tied with Iowa and Vermont for the 13th-highest growth — while tax receipts dropped about $15 million.
